As water professionals, we are always in constant research of the values ​​that we benefit from the liquid of life in our organism. And who better than a specialist in the field of nutrition could give us such an insight?!

 

  • According to your point of view as a nutritionist and dietitian, how important is water for the human body?

– Undoubtedly, water is the main and most important component in the human body. Earth, our planet is made up of 75% water, but only 1% of the water is usable for drinking. The human body itself is composed of the same percentage of water and as a result we say that it is the source of life.

  • How important is filtering and then mineralizing it?

Everything has a genesis. In its hydronic cycle (circulation of water in nature), water is polluted by air and soil. Large quantities of sewage and other water are discharged into rivers and lakes. Nitrogen fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides… etc. are used in agriculture in an uncontrolled manner. The main suppliers of water factories are precisely rivers and lakes. All these impurities affect the quality of water. Due to the aging of the water supply network and interventions in the network, chemical and bacteriological pollution of drinking water is caused, whereas a water filtered from pollution would undoubtedly only benefit health and if it were mineralized it would be another added value to our health.

  • One of the questions that is very popular is: Is it possible to lose weight by drinking a lot of water? What is your opinion from the specialist?

Drinking enough fluids can improve concentration and reduce stress. If we replace other liquids with water, we could lose 3-4 kilograms during the year. A liter of water during the day also affects the reduction of fatty layers. Water helps us stay hydrated and therefore lose extra pounds and feel better.

  • What can you tell us about your relationship with water giving us an example to follow?

-I don’t share my daily water consumption with myself. Water is always the base, then it depends on the day or the moment I am in, I always try to find a solution to hydrate my body. The fact that an example like mine can be inspiring makes me feel good.
