In the heart of Tirana lies Mattis – one of the most unique and welcoming hotels in the capital. This hotel is designed to offer guests a distinctive experience, where contemporary architecture intertwines with refined design details.
A fundamental element that gives Mattis its unique identity is the lighting, as it plays a key role in creating an atmosphere that reflects warmth and style. This is where the exceptional work of Eglo Albania, in collaboration with architect Elvis Mara, shines through. Their expertise brought this project to fruition, carefully crafting the lighting design for the hotel’s 13 rooms, bathrooms, lounges, bar, and corridors.
With a strong emphasis on decorative elements, the lighting concept includes elegant pendant fixtures above the beds and luxurious illumination for exclusive spaces such as suites and private areas. This thoughtful approach creates a warm, sophisticated ambiance, seamlessly integrating light with the interior design. Every detail has been meticulously tailored to complement the décor and color palette, ensuring that the light source remains subtly concealed while enhancing the enchanting atmosphere.
