The technical application of water filters is often overlooked due to its’ “uninteresting” nature.
Still, here at Ecosoft, we know that the quality of the filter implementation process and the staff makes all the difference in the quality of the customer experience, and who better to learn from in this aspect, than Albi Erebara, the technical support supervisor of Ecosoft.
Having been part of Ecosoft for 2 years, Albi told us about his work process, the company culture, and the importance of teamwork, especially when working directly with clients.
Here is what he had to say about his decision to become part of Ecosoft:
– “I decided to work for Ecosoft, as it seemed to me the best step I could take for my career, after leaving my previous job. I was looking for a serious company, which needed a specialized responsibility and after the phase of interview, I realized that the needs of the company and my skills in the field matched perfectly. This was the motivation I wanted to decide whether I would be a part of Ecosoft or not, and I made the right choice.”
Have you worked in the same field before?
– “ I have had experience in the sense of being in technical departments in other industries, but I have not worked in the water filter industry before.”
What do you like most about your work ?
– “ I like the fact that I can use my knowledge and skills related to the product, its assembly and operation to help customers have the best possible experience with the service and products we offer since water is one of the products we cannot live without. This type of work gives me the opportunity to experience a feeling of fulfillment as I am sure of the maximum quality of the product and I know that this product will positively affect the health of Ecosoft’s families/clients.”
What was the most difficult moment you encountered in your work at Ecosoft and what did you learn from it?
– “There are moments when you are faced with difficult customers and there have even been moments when we have been faced with aggressive customers who raise claims for problems that are outside the scope of Ecosoft’s action, such as problems with water pumps, the general water system, etc. In such situations, I have had the support of the company, which has shown that the customer is undoubtedly very important and is right, but so is the employee, hence why Richard Branson, CEO of one of the most successful companies in the world, stated “Customers do not come first.” . Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of your customers.”
What is the biggest difficulty you have encountered in your work?
– “ The difficulty that I encounter most often in the work process is the management of situations that appear when there are problems of cooperation among colleagues in my team. These types of situations often hinder the progress of the work as a whole, since the placement and installation of water filters and other equipment is a “chain” process and each “link” makes working in a group more important than ever. So, to put it another way, the biggest obstacles have to do with the management of human resources that I supervise.”
Would you consider your work to be important for the quality of service the customer receives?
– “ Yes, my work is very important to the quality of service that customers receive. In my role, I am responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the service is delivered to a high standard and that customer expectations are met, which helps build trust and a long-term relationship with them.”
What is, for you, the key to providing a quality service?
– “ The key to providing quality service involves several important elements. First, clear and effective communication is essential, as it is important to respond to the needs, concerns, or questions the client may have.
Correctness is also a key factor; this means paying attention to their issues and guaranteeing the pleasant experience that they expect, making them feel heard and served in the best way.
These aspects together create a strong foundation for providing quality service and building customer loyalty.”
What is your strongest point?
– “ My strongest point is the ability to listen carefully to the customer. This skill is called active listening and includes not only listening but also understanding their words, in order to capture the important details and fully form the context of the issues risen. This is not only a technical skill, but also an approach that helps clients feel heard and valued as well as solving their problems as fast as possible.”
What would be the first advice you would give to a new employee who would start work for the first time at Ecosoft?
– “ My first piece of advice for a new employee at Ecosoft is to focus on a few key values for success in our environment.
First, it is important to be open and honest in communication with colleagues and clients.
Also, correctness in fulfilling tasks and meeting deadlines is a good indicator of professionalism.
Order and organization are definitely essential, especially for workload management.
Finally, respect for work and colleagues, which helps create a positive, motivating culture and a better spirit of teamwork. These principles are essential to a successful and fulfilling career at Ecosoft.”
What is one of the things you value most in Ecosoft and why?
– “ One of the things I appreciate most in the company is the staff I work with most of the day. This is important to me because I believe that working with a dedicated and professional team is essential to creating a productive and enjoyable work environment.
Another aspect is that the cooperation with my colleagues helps improve my personal and professional skills, so I stand by the idea that harmony and cooperation are essential aspects that help to achieve individual goals as well as improve common well-being.”
What would be the “title” you would give to your work/experience at Ecosoft?
– “ If I were to give a title to my work and experience at Ecosoft, it would be “Challenge”. This is because my experience in this company has been filled with various challenges, which presented me with opportunities to learn and grow professionally. Every day brings new challenges that require deep commitment and high dedication, but precisely this intensive process has contributed to the formation and continuous improvement of my skills and knowledge, making this experience extremely valuable and enriching in my professional development.”
